This is the fourth workshop in the series, with previous workshops in 2010 (Würzburg), 2011 (Cambridge), and 2014 (Würzburg).
The programme includes In Memoriam lectures given by Paul Fuhrmann and Malcolm Smith. Paul Fuhrmann's lecture will commemorate the contributions of Uwe Helmke, the founder of this series of workshops on Mathematical Aspects of Network Synthesis. Malcolm Smith's lecture will commemorate the contributions of Rudolf Kalman, who presented at each of the previous three workshops in the series.
