Background

Fulvio Forni received his Ph.D degree in Computer Science and Control Engineering in 2010 from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy. In 2008-2009 he held visiting positions at the LFCS of the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK and at the CCDC of the University of California Santa Barbara (USA). Since 2011 he is a Post-doc at the University of Liege, Belgium (FNRS). He is currently a research associate at the University of Cambridge, UK.

Research Interests

Differential analysis of nonlinear systems.
Recent submissions: A differential Lyapunov framework for contraction analysis, Differentially positive systems.

Analysis of hybrid systems and design of hybrid controllers.
Reset systems, systems with impacts, stability analysis of hybrid systems.

Antiwindup design.
Regulation and performance recovery in presence of input saturation.
