Background
Alberto Padoan was born in Ferrara, Italy, in 1989. He received the Laurea Magistrale degree (M.Sc. equivalent)
cum laude in automation engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2013. He then joined the Control and Power Group as Ph.D. student in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department at Imperial College London, under the supervision of Alessandro Astolfi. Since October 2017, Alberto is a Research Associate in the Control Group, Department of Engineering, at the University of Cambridge.
Research Interests
Alberto's research interests are focused on dynamical systems and control theory, with special emphasis on modelling and system identification of nonlinear systems.
