Air-path Control

Our research is funded by the EPSRC under a programme grant titled Control for Energy and Sustainability This grant covers researchers in many areas where control theory may impact Energy/Sustainability: Power Network Stability, Wind Power Integration, Air Traffic Management and Engine Management Systems. Engine downsizing has been identified as an application area that is of current interest in the automotive industry and provides control opportunities/challenges.
