Control Group Applications Research
Cambridge University's Control Group believes in the creative
interplay between theory and challenging applications. Recent and
current research areas include:
- Robust control theory
- Modelling and control of hybrid systems
- Modelling and identification for control
- Model predictive control
- Control of constrained systems
These have been applied to:
- Control of internal combustion engines
- Passive and active automotive suspensions
- Flight control of the VSTOL Harrier
- Certification of flight controllers
- Air traffic control
- Control of telecommunication networks
- Control of submarines
and other problems. (See also our publications list.)
