Muyiwa received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, before proceeding to the University of Manchester for a Master's degree in Advanced Control and Systems Engineering. He is currently a PhD Candidate in the Control Group at the University of Cambridge.
