INT-PEC 99, the International power and energy conference will be held in Australia, and is organised by Monash University, School of Engineering, Gippsland, in co-operation with American Power Conference,USA, Institution of Engineers, Australia, The Australian Institute of Energy and Ceramic fuel cells limited, Australia. Even though the title of the conference seems to be in power and energy, a special focus on control systems, being an interdisciplinary area is being given and hence a dedicated session on control systems, involving all aspects of control theory and practice is being planned. One page abstract is due by 30th April'99. Inclusion in Control session is to be specially mentioned in the abstract. Contributed papers are solicited in applications of traditional and modern control design techniques in: Process modelling and simulation , Advanced process identification and control, process data analysis and problem diagnosis , hazard and risk analysis, expert systems and neural networks, operator decision support and man/machine interface ,Robust Control , Sensor-Based Control and Adaptive Control.
