SUMMER COURSE ON NONLINEAR CONTROL SYSTEMS: AN ALGEBRAIC SETTING A two-week intensive summer course on nonlinear control systems will be given at CINVESTAV, Mexico City, Mexico, from July 4 to July 15, 1994. The lectures will be given in English by Professors Claude H. Moog of the Central School of Nantes, Nantes, France, and Ana Maria Perdon of the University of Ancona, Ancona, -Italy. The tuition fee is $100 USD. The summer course is designed to summarize the state of the art in the analysis and control of nonlinear systems with emphasis on the so-called algebraic approach. The following topics will be covered: realization, accesibility, observability, system transformations, system structure, feedback linearization, disturbance decoupling, noninteracting control and model matching. Vugraphs and lecture notes are provided.
