The goal of this edition is to provide a world-wide forum for the presentation and discussion of recent advances and new applications of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) techniques to the different aspects of a telecommunication system. This Workshop will be held at the Astor Hotel of Viareggio, on the seashore near Pisa, and the Proceedings will be published in a volume by Elsevier Amsterdam (NL).
