Bled is located in the north-west of Slovenia (35 km from International Airport Ljubljana-Brnik) - at the foothills of the Julian Alps and Karavanke Mountains. It is one of the leading tourist resorts, famous throughout Slovenia for its healthy subalpine climate magnificent scenery and numerous possibilities for recreation and special interest excursions. The workshop will take place in Grand Hotel Toplice, Bled. Average temperature in Bled during the time of the Workshop is around zero degrees centigrade. Dry crisp weather can be expected. Rainfall and snow are also possible. REGISTRATION The organization of the Workshop is based on advance registration; nevertheless every effort will be made to register those persons wishing to register immediately before or during the Workshop. COPYRIGHT The material submitted for presentation at an IFAC meeting (congress, symposium, conference, workshop) must be original, not published or being considered elsewhere. All papers accepted for presentation will appear in the Preprints of the meeting which will be distributed to the participants. Papers duly presented will be archived and offered for sale, in the form of Postprints volumes, by Elsevier Science Ltd, Oxford, UK. The papers which have been presented will be further screened for possible publication in the IFAC Journals Automatica and Control Engineering Practice, or in IFAC affiliated journals, such as Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence. All papers presented will be recorded in Control Engineering Practice. Copyright of material presented at an IFAC meeting is held by IFAC. Authors will be sent a copyright transfer form. Automatica, Control Engineering Practice and, after threse, IFAC affiliated journals have priority access to all contributions presented. However, if the author is not contacted by an editor of these journals within three months after the meeting, the author is free to re-submit the material for publication elsewhere. In this case, the paper must carry a reference to the IFAC meeting where it was originally presented. Authors in any doubt should consult the detailed IFAC Copyright conditions available from the IFAC Secretariat. Austrian and Italian citizens may pass the border with identification card only. All EC, EFTA, CEFTA, OECD countries and majority of other ones have reciprocal visa exemptions with Slovenia.
