ALI UMUT GENC
Graduated from Kabatas Erkek Lisesi in 1992 in Istanbul and entered Electrical-Electronics Engineering Department of Orta Dogu Teknik Universitesi (Middle East Technical University) in Ankara. Majored in control during his undergraduate and got his B.Sc. in 1997. He got his M.Sc. degree in Advanced Control from Control Systems Centre in UMIST, Manchester, in 1998. After completing his M.Sc., he got a position in the Engineering Department of Cambridge University where he is still reading for a Ph.D. degree in Robust Control of Automobile Engines. His M.Sc. study is jointly funded by Turk Egitim Vakfi (Turkish Education Foundation) and British Council. His current research is funded by Ford Motor Company.
