Background
I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge. My project is split between the Control Group and the Electronics, Power and Energy Conversion Group, where I am advised by Prof. Jan Maciejowski and Prof. Richard McMahon, respectively.
Research Overview
My research is focused on the control of the brushless doubly-fed induction generator (BDFIG). I am currently investigating the coupling effects which arise when attempting to independently control active and reactive power.
