Background
I graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, and obtained a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. Later on, I was a postdoc at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.
Research Overview
Hardware accelerated Predictive control. Robust control methods for finite precision implementation of the Optimizations need for running Model predictive control.

Event-triggered sampling for control. Networked control.

Applications of control ideas to phenomena in Biology.
