I was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. I studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Waterloo (B.A.Sc., 2005). While there I held an NSERC Undergraduate Research Assistantship working under Prof. Dan Davison in the field of fundamental control limitations with time delays. I have worked in the software, telecommunications and banking industries through Waterloo's co-op program. I am currently studying towards a PhD as a Gates Scholar with the Control Group here at Cambridge.
