Background
Received the MEng and the BA in Electrical and Information Sciences with distinction and first class honours respectively in 1999 after a four year cource (1995-1999) at the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge, UK.

Received a PhD in Control Engineering in 2003 after research conducted under the supervision of Prof. Keith Glover in the Control Laboratory at the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge, UK.

He is currently a Research Associate in the Control Lab working on synthesis and experimental testing of mechanical networks and LMI optimisation for suspension models with Prof. M. C. Smith.
Research Overview
Research topics for the PhD

- Robust flight control
- Control of aeroservoelastic aircraft
- Flight control using nonlinear dynamic inversion
- Performance analysis of uncertain, quasi-LPV models

Post-Doc research

- Optimisation of passive vehicle suspensions using LMI's
- Experimental testing and modelling of the inerter devices
- Modelling of vehicle dynamics with SimMechanics
- Design of nonlinear passive vehicle suspensions
Teaching
Has supervised undergraduate engineering students in the following subjects:
"Signals and Systems" dealing with discrete time systems and random processes,
"Systems and Control" dealing with state-space models and state-space control,
"Information Engineering" dealing with linear systems, control and communications,
"Electrical Engineering dealing with linear circuits and devices, electrical power and electromagnetic fields and waves.
