Neurofuzzy Modelling ,Control and Estimation: Theory and applications
Prof. C.J.Harris (University of Southampton)
Abstract
This talk will concentrate on the contributions that ISIS
(Image, Speech & Intelligent Systems research group) has made to
unknown nonlinear dynamic systems modelling from experiential knowledge,
sensor data, and mechanistic knowledge;identifying the major theoretical
problems (such as learning convergence, stabilty, the curse of
dimensionality..) and their solution.Examples will be given throughout to
illustrate the points, including car cruise control, materials
classification, and helicopter collision avoidance.Full details on the work
can be found on the ISIS web page http://www.isis.ecs.soton.ac.uk.
