Control is a generic discipline whose application potential is becoming increasingly realised over a wide range of areas. This lecture will assess progress in the control of uncertain systems from traditionally important areas such as those in the aerospace and automotive industries to more recent areas such as the analysis of Internet Protocols, Air Traffic Control systems and Biological Systems.
