MIMO H-infinity Sensitivity Limits.
Thomas Brinsmead (University of Newcastle, Australia)
New results are presented giving PERFORMANCE LIMITS in the form of
TIGHT LOWER BOUNDS on the achievable H-INFINITY NORM for
the closed loop SENSITIVITY FUNCTIONS of linear
time-invariant systems. Expressions are derived by direct evaluation
of the norm of a matrix directly related to the
Nevanlinna-Pick matrix, which arises from a frequency
domain, model-matching optimisation approach to sensitivity
minimisation. These performance limits are a FUNCTION OF both
right-hand plane POLES AND ZEROES AND THEIR RELATIVE ALIGNMENT.
