Background

Paul read General Engineering and then Electrical and Information Sciences at Cambridge University leading to the MA and MEng degrees from 1996 to 2000. Paul submitted his Ph.D. dissertation titled `A Study of the Brushless Doubly-Fed (Induction) Machine: Contributions in Machine Analysis, Design and Control' in September 2004.

Research Overview

Paul's research interest in the analysis, modelling, design and control electrical machines, in particular the Brushless Doubly-fed Machine (BDFM).
